Description: These are the Weisco piston and BME Aluminum rod assemblies that were in the 540 CI motor of www.bigredram.com

They have about 70-80 passes over a three year period

I'm going to 572CI with steel rods and offer these to someone looking to build a 540 (no overbore) motor on a budget. You will need to start with a fresh Mega, Indy, KB, Aries, block as these are now overbore.

Rods BME 426 – 7.15 long, 2.200 rod .990 pin

Pay over $1000 for new -- or pay $300 for used. I also have 6 spare used rods and pistons of the same size that I will throw in for another $150. That ought to keep you in pistons and rods for the rest of your life.

Careful wrap and shipping (set of eight or set of 14) $35 anywhere in the lower 48 states. Dave@oldhippie.com

BTW -- the eight are assembled. The machinist had one at the time of the photo and so I threw a new piston and rod so everyone would ask me if I lost one. But that photo might as many emails without this explanation.

again there is no over-bore (pistons are 4.375 .000 overbore

Careful wrapping and shipping is $35 to any of the lower 48 states.
